Since singing and dancing can be a huge motivator for kids and can help to inspire little ones to learn, Covert collaborated with Pull-Ups brand on a new version of The Potty Dance, and he is grooving and shaking at Pull-Ups Potty Dance parties cross-country. Kicking off today in Chicago, followed by events in Minneapolis, Seattle and Orlando, Ralph will be hosting interactive Pull-Ups brand sponsored Potty Dance parties all over the United States for parents and kids to introduce the new song and dance (and perform songs off of his new album, "All Around Ralph's World").
As part of the parties, Pull-Ups brand is making it easy for attendees to give back to their community by providing drop-off areas for them to ditch their unused diapers and donate them to local women and children centers in the area. "As a musician and most importantly, a parent who is gearing up to potty train my second child, I know first-hand how incorporating song and dance into a routine can be a huge motivator for kids," said Covert. "That's why I'm so excited to partner with the Pull-Ups brand and to give families something cool like The Potty Dance to inspire training and reward success along the potty training journey. Resources like this can really help ease the stress of such an important part of growing up - for parents and kids!" To bring the celebration into the home, Pull-Ups brand is also teaming up with House Party, a leading consumer activation and experiential marketing company, to host 5,000 simultaneous "Do The Potty Dance" in-home parties with Moms from coast to coast. During the gatherings, Moms and their kids will learn the dance and share potty training tips with one another so everyone leaves the party one step closer to ditching the diapers for good. "We're excited to bring The Potty Dance to life for parents and children across the country," said Pete Sawin, Director of Marketing, Kimberly-Clark North American Personal Care. "We hope they celebrate with Ralph at a Potty Dance Party or neighborhood party. Even more than that, we want to give families a fun dance to build into their daily routine at home--a potty training ritual that really celebrates becoming a Big KidĀ®."
