A company called KidZui has taken a positive approach to filtering what your children ages 3 to 12 can access on the internet.  They hired 200 teachers and parents from across the US to search for appropriate sites and content for this age group.  From this they have created a child-friendly subset of the web.  For $10 a month or $100 per year parents receive the KidZui software and receive the service which enables any computer to access about 500,000 safe websites.
